Applications
Versakut 7227 can be used for vrtually all machining operations. It provides long emulsion life, and reduced overall cost. It is safe and pleasant to work with and need less coolant maintenance and disposal problems. It is free from nitrates and phenols. It is safe on all ferrous metals and magnesium. For use on aluminum, zinc, or other soft metals and additional inhibitor may be needed to prevent staining.
Versakut 7227 is usually applied at 5% to 10% by volume with water. For heavy machining use 10%. For lighter machining use 5%.
