Jobber Length Cobalt Drill Bits

Jobber length cobalt drill bits are general-purpose drill bits characterized by their straight shank which is the same diameter of the cutting edge, and a flute length, which yields a drilling depth of 4.5 to 8.5 times the diameter of the bit. The flute helix ranges from 21 to 30 degrees depending on the supplier.  Cobalt jobber drills are an excellent choice for small batch machining.
