5 Flute End Mill

Five flute end mills are used for both roughing and finishing operations.  The increased number of flutes means higher feed rates and productivity.  These are available in mostly high performance geometries.  They come in square end and corner radius designs with variable pitch.  They are available in stub, standard, long, and extra long lengths.  They are solid carbide coated with AlTiN, or AlCrN.  The diameters range from 1/8" - 1".
