6 Flute End Mills
Six flute end mills are generally used for finishing or high efficiency milling (HEM) operations. The increased number of flutes means higher feed rates and productivity. These are available in mostly high performance and general purpose geometries. They come in square end and corner radius designs with and without variable pitch. They are available in stub, standard, long, and extra long lengths. They are solid carbide coated with AlTiN, or AlCrN. The diameters range from 1/8" - 1".
